Jim brings almost 30 years of diverse experience in commercial real estate to Realtec and Northern Colorado. He has closed hundreds of transactions involving the sale and lease of office, retail, investment and industrial properties, as well as the sale and acquisition of raw ground for development. As a partner and broker at Realtec, Jim has consistently been a top producer, helping his clients achieve their goals.
Jim received his Bachelors of Science degree from Colorado State University. He began his real estate career with Colorado-Wyoming Investments in 1980 and prior to joining Realtec in 1988, owned his own firm, Mokler Realty. In 1991, Jim attained the prestigious designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), and in 1996, was awarded the Society Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation.
Jim specializes in Industrial, Land and Investment properties. He continues to expand his knowledge of industrial properties and is presently an owner/developer of Fort Collins Interchange Business Park (IBP). IBP North, a new 47 -acre development, is located on the northeast corner of I-25 and Mulberry Street and is currently in the planning process. Jim’s “hands on” experience along with his knowledge of the development process as well as governmental regulatory actions, give Jim an added advantage when assisting his clients with their investment needs.
Jim is married with two children and four grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, surfing and biking. Jim is also an instrument rated pilot, allowing for quick and effective regional coverage.
